BIG BOPPA

I owned a very nice R33 GTS-t which was great fun the only modifications I did to her was new wheels and took away the 2 stage boost. The GTS-t was my first insight in to the world of SKYLINES and the Skyline Owners Club. One of the best times was at Santa Pod and cracking the 13sec barrier, so what if it was 13.9 it was in the 13's

After a year of ownership the GTR bug bit and I just had to own one. So I went looking on the internet. I found one I really liked. It was a white R33 GTR in japan with what looked like quite a big spec, so set the wheels in motion, sold my GTS-t to my brother in law and sold my bike, a beautiful Honda VTR SP1.

I then put the deposit down on her, she was in the docks in japan awaiting the first boat, was going to take 9 weeks to get here, which without a car was going to be painful. Thankfully my good friends Martin and Nigel let me have the run of their cars whenever I wanted, which was truly a god send . Naturally I was getting inpatient and wanted the car on the first boat that was free, I got the call that I had been waiting for, the one that said my car was en route on a boat called "Hyandai 105".

So long story short that is how I ended up with BIG BOPPA
